I inherited an old clunker from an Estate and contacted A&L Auto Recyclers to assist in the sale/disposal of the vehicle. Darryl was courteous and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Steve contacted me to make sure I was available to pick up the vehicle. While at the property, I was paid cash for the vehicle. He was fast, efficient and courteous when picking up the vehicle. I will use their services again in the future.

Needed a rear passenger door for my '10 Escape that has no rust and no dings, then a lady showed me pics from the offices in the computer. Liked it, but i also asked if I could see it in person, said not a problem. then a guy took me from the front to the back and showed me a couple of Escapes in the lot, and was able to find a door that matched my car colour as well as the interior with zero rust. Said I'll take it, then took me back to front, paid $250 for it, then 10-15 min later he brought the door to the front.

I had called to schedule a pick up to scrap a vehicle. The person I spoke with said they would talk with the driver and call me back that day to schedule a time. I called back later that day to see if there was any news on that and nothing. No call back that day. Understandable. People are busy. I really needed this vehicle off of my apartment lot but figured I'd give them til atleast 2pm the next day before looking elsewhere. At that point, i didn't want anything for it. I just needed it gone asap. I opted to go with a different company, after still not hearing anything on day 2. They were here within a few hours. Day 3, I was called around 4pm to schedule a time for pick up. When I explained that I had got it picked up already, as well as a Thank you for calling though

Purchased a radio for my daughter’s car, installed it for her to find out it was locked, they could not provide the code to unlock it so I had to return it, they charged her a $20 restocking fee to return it. Thanks Lee.

I bought an AC compressor from them for $240. 3 weeks later I tested it to make sure the clutch is working before I send it to the mechanic for installation. It was not engaging. Took my van to the mechanic anyway and had him recheck the compressor. No good. I ended up buying a new compressor. I took the used compressor back to A&L to get a refund. They said no refund only replacement. You'd think they test their products before selling them.I guess there's no difference between buying from them or the guy collecting scrap metal off the streets.

Bought used transmission, looks great with next day delivery right to my shop (Despite being in another country). Both customer service and delivery driver where knowledgeable and professional. Would recommend for used obscure parts.

The customer service is hands down the worst I've ever experienced. They should hire people who actually have manners and don't hang up on you before you're even done with the conversation.
